The Wieland Legacy Lives On

During the Great Depression, Sam Wieland, one of 22 children born to a German immigrant farm family in Kawkawlin, Michigan, started buying and selling used farm equipment to help feed his growing family. Family history holds that he got his start as one of the last horse traders, hauling equipment back from Indiana, Illinois, and Iowa on a single-axle flatbed truck to refurbish and resell to farms across the Bay City area.

That same hustle and commitment to the customer built what Team Wieland Truck & Trailer is today.
