The International® S13® Integrated Powertrain is International's most advanced, fuel-efficient, and streamlined powertrain, available on the LT®, RH™, HX®, and HV™ Series. Capable of up to 515 horsepower and 1,850 lb-ft of torque, the S13 Integrated pairs an engine, transmission, and aftertreatment system that were engineered together from a clean sheet, rather than adapted from an earlier platform. The result is a new standard for efficiency, uptime, and total cost of ownership, proven over more than 4 million miles of real-world and test-track running.

Rather than pairing components from different manufacturers, International engineered the S13 Engine, T14 Transmission, and Dual Stage Aftertreatment System together as one unit. S13® Engine
Delivering Superior Operating Economy
A new cylinder and piston head design with maximum cooling properties, paired with a double overhead cam design, means less fuel burned per mile. The S13 can run at low RPM with high torque, still delivering up to 515 hp and 1,850 lb-ft of torque with a compression ratio of 23:1.
T14® Transmission
Stellar Performance
The fully automated 14-speed T14 transmission was developed alongside the engine, so full torque is available at just 900 RPM. An electronically controlled clutch actuator delivers smooth, driver-free shifts, and a compression release brake provides strong, secure braking on descents.
Dual Stage Aftertreatment
Easy Serviceability
Running with zero cooled EGR during normal operation eliminates the need for a heavy, expensive EGR cooler, so 100% of exhaust flow passes through a simpler, more reliable fixed-vane turbocharger. Less soot means extended service intervals and no active regens required.
